Would you like to be involved in recording the history of the Coolock and Artane area?
The society is undertaking an Oral History Project throughout 2018 – interviewing residents from the surrounding areas who moved here in the 1950s and 1960s as well as those who have lived in Coolock and Artane all their lives.
We particularly want to record people’s experiences of moving here and capture stories about the change from country villages to busy suburbs. We would love to have as many people involved in this project as is possible.
Dublin City Archives, who are supporting this project, organised a one-day workshop to train interviewers. This took place in March and we now have a project team of 16 who are looking forward to getting started!
If you are interested in being interviewed for this project or know of others who could be interested, please fill in the form below and we’ll be in touch!
