Would you like to be involved in recording the history of the Coolock and Artane area?
The society is undertaking an Oral History Project throughout 2018 – interviewing residents from the surrounding areas who moved here in the 1950s and 1960s as well as those who have lived in Coolock and Artane all their lives.
We particularly want to record people’s experiences of moving here and capture stories about the change from country villages to busy suburbs. We would love to have as many people involved in this project as is possible.
The recordings will be placed in Dublin City Archives, who are supporting this project, ensuring that they can be used and enjoyed for many years to come.
